This was a wonderful find, the cottage was perfect for our family getaway. The host was great, quick to respond and thought of everything. I will say the picture of the cottage does not do it justice, it’s absolutely adorable! I would definitely stay again when visiting the Charlotte area.

This was absolutely a beautiful spot to get away and relax. We came here for a work training and I kept telling my husband this would be a nice and peaceful place to come to just to relax. The squirrels running around and the calmness of the lake is just what you need to take stress away. You can sit on the deck and just watch nature. We even saw a little otter come up from out of the water onto the property.

This our second time staying here. The house is ideally located near the softball fields and local restaurants and shopping. We hope to be able to book this house again next year. The property is quiet and the home is clean and comfortably furnished.

The house was exactly as pictured. The neighborhood was super cute, and we felt very safe there.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at. The place was clean, great kitchen living room, bedrooms and showers. Had a great deck to sit outside on. Would recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Was a very welcoming home. Great atmosphere! All the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. I will say for 5 people there wasn’t enough towels for everyone. All furnishings are really nice. Comfy couch and enough seats for all of us to relax together and watch tv. The fire pit was wonderful at night with a great view. Was in a wonderful location to downtown Charlotte. Went to the Bank of America Stadium and was like 15 minutes away. There are kayaks but we didn’t use them. We were hoping to fish from the dock or the bank. We had brought all of our fishing stuff to fish. So, I will say if you do want to fish you would need to use them. The dock isn’t there. It’s across the water channel on a sand bar island hence you need to use the kayaks to fish open water. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. If we come back to this area. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and well worth the price . Cleaning lady had an emergency and didn’t finish before we arrived but it was still clean. She came back later and made the place spotless. Mike was very friendly and helpful.

We appreciate all the communication and we enjoyed the neighbors as well. We enjoyed our time and will be booking again if the need arises again.

We stayed at Mike’s place for a wedding we attended nearby. Location was ideal for us, and even better we could bring our dog. The space was exactly to the pictures and listing. Mike was super communicative, proactive with instructions and we had no issues or questions. It was only two of us & our dog but also a great space for a family or group.

This was a beautiful cottage, perfect for family getaways. Fishing and kayaking were nearby although it looks like the dock to the Peninsula was not functional, but kayaks would get you across. The place was tastefully decorated, quaint & tucked among trees. Mike is a great host and very responsive to my questions we had. Thanks Mike!

Great stay and great host! Fantastic communication from booking, to the days leading up to our arrival and through our stay. Great check-in and check-out instructions and very responsive. The house is in a great location and proximate to both Davidson and Cornelius. A group of 6 stayed for Davidson's graduation and could not be more pleased. The house was pristine and well cleaned. The master bedroom and bath are spacious and the living area, kitchen and both the front and back porches are comfortable. The hosts took care of all the little details relative to toiletries and kitchen accessories (including a stocked Keurig coffee maker). We would definitely stay here again.

I'm always happy to recommend an airbnb location, and even more so with this home. I was in town for an event, and this was the perfect size. The home was extremely well-stocked, spotless, and felt "homey." The home is in a quiet location, and light pollution is at a minimum. I didn't spend too much time in the backyard, but the deck and firepit were in great shape and ready for use. There's a new Publix grocery store right down the street, and Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson are a short drive away.

location ideal for my purposes … only problem was short stay didn’t allow time to use it the available kayaks for a paddle into the beautiful river … quiet cul-de-sac and plenty of outdoor relaxation opportunity added to the charm of this ground floor, river front apartment. definitely a candidate for a return trip

The home was well appointed and perfect for our needs. If we are back in the charlotte area we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

This place is absolutely perfect if you have a group of 6-10 people! The house had plenty of space for everyone and had great additions like the pool table and fire pit! It is on its own property so there's no worry of disturbance from other houses. Mike was super helpful and was very responsive when it came to answering the questions we had! If you're in the Charlotte area, I would highly recommend staying here!
